This is announcing the next meeting of the Carrollton Tea Party Working Groups, this Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon. Mark your calendars and please try to attend. The working groups are your opportunity to get involved in planning and executing activities that continue to wake up and organize Carrollton residents, and like minded neighbors, into a united voice, to ensure that our liberties and freedoms are preserved for future generations.
As is true for the Carrollton Tea Party, anyone who wishes to join us in a positive effort to engage citizens in government, educate people on the American heritage, and return our country to its rightful owners—We the People...is welcome. Come find a working group that suits your talents and interests and get involved.

Awesome Turnout at Senator Cornyn's office!
The Moveon organization scheduled a "Real Option" Rally to show their support for universal health care. The Carrollton Tea Party joined other Tea Parties and patriots for a counter protest and we outnumbered them 10 to 1! They had maybe 20 people. We had over 200!
The tide is turning. Congress is breaking without a vote despite the White House's and Pelosi's wishes. We can not relent!

Hello, it was so wonderful to see everyone that was able to come out today! Thank you! For a workday, I think we had a great turnout! Almost 50.
We also had a nice and informative time at Rep. Kenny Marchant's office. They were very hospitable and welcoming. They gave us great insight into this health care bill and answered any questions that we had. We actually got to see a print out of this massive bill!

3 More Days Until America's Tea Party!

Carrollton Tea Party to Caravan to the America’s Tea Party
The Carrollton Tea Party Group is planning to caravan to the America’s Tea Party event and want to invite all to join us. We want to create a caravan of decorated vehicles with flags flying, large enough to get national media attention, and invite other groups to join us along the route to make a big statement.
The preliminary plan is to meet at McInnish Park on Sandy Lake Road in Carrollton about 2 pm on the 4th. The caravan will take the George Bush Turnpike to Hwy 75, North to East Parker Road, and out Parker to Southfork. Other interested groups are encouraged to contact CTP carrolltonteaparty@gmail.com. and we can arrange rendezvous points along the route.
